2024 Softball Season is Underway!

The 2024 Softball Manitoba season is underway!

Teams held their first games starting May 1st on diamonds across the province.

The Bonivital Softball Association has nearly 300 players registered, from the littlest kids in the Learn to Play program, to Under-11, Under-13, Under-15, Under-17 and Under-19 age groups.

Bonivital has its players organized into 29 teams for the 'A' Ball season, plus 4 'AA' teams that will compete later in the summer. Bonivital's 'A' teams are 'Flash'; the 'AA' squads are known as 'Bolts'.

And Bonivital is excited to be hosting its second annual softball tournament, now known as the Spring Fling! An incredible 38 teams from around Winnipeg and southern Manitoba will be competing in the tournament May 24-26 at local diamonds including Riel Park on Meadowood Avenue and Charing Cross Park on John Forsyth Avenue.

Teams will also compete this season in the Capital Region Softball League (CRSL) championships, and the provincial championships in each age category from U11 to U19.
