The Manitoba Summer Games will be held in Dauphin from August 11 to 17.
Manitoba games are held every two years and alternate between summer and winter sports, the Games involve upwards of 7,500 participants, include 12 different sports and represents a crucial opportunity for young athletes to square up against top-tier provincial competition.
The softball portion of the games will be held between August 14 to 17.
There will be 6 softball ball teams. One from each of 4 rural Manitoba areas (East, West, North and South), and 2 Winnipeg teams divided by North Winnipeg Clubs and South Winnipeg Clubs.
Bonivital players are eligible to play and tryout for the South Winnipeg Team Blue.
This is completely separate from the regular season A (and AA) ball seasons. All athletes will still register for their respective community softball associations in the spring.
Eligible players are birth years 2009 and 2010.
Players who have been placed/made a AAA team for the 2024 season are INELIGIBLE to tryout. This is a Softball MB rule.
